The enthusiastic involvement of the coastal communities marks a significant step towards integrating the important role of local populace in security of nation. It reiterates their role as the %u2018eyes and ears%u2019 of security forces and will be a true force multiplier in safeguarding our coasts.With the theme %u201cSurakshit Tat, Samriddh Bharat%u201d, the Cyclothon traversed through 5 states on the west coast and 4 states on the east coast. The overwhelming response it received was heartening: more than 1,200 local cyclists joined the journey at different stages, and over 30 lakh people participated in rallies, awareness drives, and public events. This enthusiastic participation reaffirms the image of CISF as a citizen-friendly force that is accessible and trusted. With maximum public interface through its deployments at airports and the Delhi Metro, CISF has once again demonstrated its ability to provide not only foolproof security to vital installations but also meaningful engagement with the citizens it serves.The Great Indian Coastal Cyclothon was not just an awareness campaign%u2014it was also a bridge to bring Stakeholders, particularly coastal communities andworkers at Indian ports, into the mainstream of coastal security. The successful conclusion of this landmark initiative stands as testimony to CISF%u2019s commitment to inclusive security under the vision of %u201cSurakshit Tat, Samriddh Bharat.%u201dThis Coffee Table Book is a pictorial narrative of this initiative. The vibrant images of rallies, events and community interactions vividly capture the willpower, dedication and systematic approach of the Force in successfully executing such a mammoth event. The Cyclothon has once again reaffirmed that CISF is not only capable of providing impenetrable security to the nation%u2019s vital installations but also as the visionary harnessing the collective strength of local communities in securing national assets.I take this opportunity to congratulate the cycle riders of CISF who volunteered and made the event a reality.
