22 23Ifeel immensely proud to acknowledge the successful completion of %u201cThe Great Indian Coastal Cyclothon%u201d, organized to commemorate the 56th Raising Dayof CISF. The event, flagged off by the Hon%u2019ble Union Home Minister on 7th March 2025 from Rajaditya Cholan Recruit Training Centre, Thakkolam, concluded on 31stMarch 2025 after covering a distance of about 6,553 km along the eastern and western coastlines of our nation.In a first event of this kind in CISF, a total of 125 cyclists from CISF not only traversed the vast coastline but also interacted with 31 fishing communities along the west coast and 27 along the east coast.
