KHARAVELA RECRUIT TRAINING CENTRE, MUNDALI(ODISHA)

Kharavela Regional Training Centre, Mundali is a newly established training institute of CISF. It was initially, established in the township of Paradip Port Trust. The shifting of this RTC from Paradip to Mundali was took place on 18th September 2002. This Regional Training Centre is located in between Cuttack and Bhubaneswar i.e., 18 kms away from Cuttack and 32 kms from Bhubaneswar (on Banki State Highway). NDRF 3rd Bn is located adjacent to the KRTC Campus. It is an ideal hilly place for training, especially for field craft and Police Tactics and is free from pollution with tropical climate. The place is well connected with Rail and Air.

KRTC Mundali is headed by an officer of the rank of Deputy Inspector General. It has a training capacity of 1008 trainees at any given point of time.
